Athelstone
A family friendly suburb in the Adelaide foothills
Athelstone, Adelaide (10-20km)
Athelstone is a suburb made for families. It is in the Adelaide foothills, has plenty of leafy streets, and larger blocks of land with brick family homes. Most of the housing was built after the 1960s, but some sections of the suburb are much newer. There are a couple of good schools in the area and a small local shopping village. This is a very quiet suburb that will appeal to those who like living in tranquility, and don't mind hearing a few kids playing in the street or taking their dog for a walk. Athelstone is close to a conservation park and the Torrens River linear park. (More information below and to your left <<<)
