Edgecliff
Edgecliff
View of Edgecliff and other eastern suburbs from across the harbour

Edgecliff, Sydney (east)

Edgecliff is quite small. There are three things going for it – it has good public transport, it’s close to the harbour meaning you can get some great views, and it is sandwiched between several more vibrant eastern suburbs. There are plenty of apartment blocks, and some Victorian terraces on small tree-lined streets. It's not an "in" place to live, but it is convenient.

Put it this way, no part of Edgecliff is too far from a major road. No apartment in Edgecliff lacks views of a major road. But because of its high concentration of apartments, its proximity to the harbour and because it is well serviced by buses and trains, it tends to attract the young, singles, couples, and professionals. Edgecliff also has two of Australia's finest schools - Ascham House and Edgecliff Preparatory School. The local shopping centre has a large variety of shops and is very conveniently located at the train station. (More information below and to your left <<<)
