Neutral Bay is one of those places that has everything you may need but it isn’t exactly party central. Though the Royal Oaks Hotel does a good trade. This suburb is extremely convenient. A bus trip to the city from Neutral Bay takes approx 12 minutes in peak hour.

Neutral Bay has several gourmet food stores, and plenty of natural medicine practitioners. This suburb has a high concentration of apartment buildings, scattered amongst large, well-kept period homes in hilly tree-lined picturesque streets. But you never get a sense of overcrowding.

Parking is generally manageable. The vibe: convenient with a light buzz. Shoe equivalent: Adidas, work shoes. Would suit: ages 25+, students, professionals, executives, singles, families, people from overseas, and those who like convenience, a good quieter lifestyle and who don’t need to live in trendyville.
