Armadale is a haven for executives and wealthy families with smart children who go to private schools, and young women who dream of getting married. This is a very picturesque upper middle class suburb that screams moola, and respectable professions. It exists in a wealthy highly anglo-saxon bubble where bogans (uncultured types) dare not tread. If you venture down to High St in Armadale you will see plenty of wedding gown stores. In fact the selection will do your head in as will the request to wear white gloves while perusing through the gowns.
Armadale is busy with mums having coffee, kids after schooling checking out the shops, locals going about their every day things, and brides-to-be shopping for that perfect gown. Traffic can be a nightmare during the morning and afternoon peak hours. Grrrr.
The architecture is incredibly appealing, if you like Victorian and Federation buildings. The streets are well maintained as are the houses and gardens.
This is a very safe, pleasant suburb that will hold plenty of appeal to families and executives.
